FAQ
How much for a tattoo?
Graves prides himself on providing affordable prices for his luxury tattoos. Just like any tattoo shop, prices depend on what you want. Factors that impact price include:
-
Size of tattoo
-
Tattoo design
-
Colors included in design
-
Overall detail of design
-
Design subject and composition
Because price depends on so many variables, it is very important to communicate with your artist when getting a tattoo. To receive a free price quote, please get in contact by filling out this Tattoo Request Form.
Does Graves Broderick Tattoo charge by piece, or by the hour?
Pricing method depends on your tattoo request, and the pricing method will be communicated to you after you request a price quote. Typically, large pieces (half-sleeve or larger), and very complicated tattoos will be priced per hour; whereas most other designs are priced by the piece. This is to ensure that you only pay what is fair for your tattoo.
What counts toward my total session time, when charged by the hour?
When a tattoo is priced via hourly rate, the following items count toward total session time:
-
Tattoo station set-up
-
Placement of stencil/drawing a freehanded tattoo design
-
Tattooing (Needle-to-skin contact)
-
Breaks requested by client
What forms of payment are accepted?
Graves Broderick Tattoo accepts cash, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, and Paypal for payments.
Am I expected to tip for my tattoo?
Tipping for tattoos is just as customary as tipping for food!
Just like tipping for any other service, tipping shows your appreciation for your artist's work, and ensure they get paid fairly for the service they just completed.
Many clients seem unaware that tipping is customary in the tattoo industry. While they are not mandatory, even the smallest tips are greatly appreciated!
